Service Projects | Alternative Spring Break | The Other Six Days

On Wednesday, March 31 Wesley Seminary will be hosting a Potato Drop. The Society of St. Andrew (SOSA) is sending us 40,000 lbs of sweet potatoes to sort, bag and distribute to area soup kitchens and food pantries. SOSA does a wonderful job of connecting produce that would go to waste with hungry people who would otherwise do without. All we need are willing hands to connect the two.

We'll get started bagging at 9:00 am and hopefully be finished around lunch. The pile will be found behind Straughn Hall on Wesley's campus (see map below). Free drinks will be provided.
